About

We built the tier everyone else refuses to sell

Managed IT has a structural gap. A human helpdesk cannot be staffed profitably for a ten-person company, so providers set seat minimums and turn those companies away. Millions of small businesses are left with a break-fix number and hope.

Why this exists

The economics of traditional managed IT are simple and unforgiving. A human helpdesk is a fixed cost. Spread across 200 seats it's affordable; across 10 it isn't. That's why the industry standard minimum is 10 to 25 seats, and why the per-user price rises as the company gets smaller — the opposite of what you'd expect, and exactly backwards for the businesses least able to absorb it.

Automation changes that arithmetic, but only for a specific class of work: high-volume, well-defined, reachable through an API. Password resets, provisioning, licence changes, patching, policy enforcement. That work genuinely doesn't need a person. Hardware failures, legacy applications, vendor disputes and judgement calls absolutely do, and pretending otherwise is how customers end up disappointed in month three.

So we split it honestly. AI Support at $29 covers the automatable work for companies nobody else will serve. Managed at $99 and Managed Plus at $159 cover everything else, at prices reflecting real human effort — still below market, because the automation underneath means fewer engineer-hours per user.

The bargain tier isn't a loss leader

AI Support is a real service with real margins, not bait to upsell you. It's priced where it is because that's what the work costs when automation does most of it. If you never move up a tier, that's a fine outcome — the tier stands on its own.

Leadership

Who's behind this

Raymond Payne — Founder

Technology leader · 30+ years · author, Mastering Automation with AI

Thirty years building and running technology for businesses across more than a dozen countries, most recently as an AI strategy advisor to professional services firms — the work that made this gap impossible to ignore.

The pattern kept repeating: mid-sized firms could afford proper IT and AI enablement, and smaller ones simply could not get served at all. Not because their problems were harder, but because the delivery model priced them out. PCR is the attempt to fix that with the tools that finally make it possible.

Practically, that means the automation here was designed by someone who has spent three decades cleaning up after other people's IT decisions, and is therefore fairly paranoid about what an automated system should and shouldn't be allowed to do to a production environment. Hence the approval gates on anything destructive.

We're a small team and we'd rather show you a real person than a stock photo of a fake one. As we hire, they'll appear here with their names on.

How we operate

Prices in public

Every rate is on the pricing page — tiers, onboarding, licences, hourly work. No "contact us for pricing" on anything a normal company would buy. If a competitor won't publish a number, there's usually a reason.

Exclusions in public too

We list what each tier doesn't cover as prominently as what it does. A cheap tier with vague boundaries is how people end up angry later.

Your tenant, your data

Your Microsoft tenant and domains stay in your name. We hold delegated access you can revoke without asking us. Documentation is exportable at any time, including on the way out.

No exit penalties

Twelve-month initial term, then monthly. No offboarding fee, no withheld credentials, no three-year auto-renewal.

We turn business away

If your environment is heavily on-premise, or you need engineers in the building weekly, a local hands-on provider fits better and we'll say so on the first call rather than in month six.

Remote-first, globally available

North America is our primary market and where on-site dispatch is most reliable. Remote support works anywhere; we confirm coverage for your locations before you sign.

What we're not

We're a young company. You'd find these out anyway, so here they are first.

  • We're not SOC 2 certified yet. We follow aligned controls and document them in detail, and we support customers through their own audits. If your procurement requires a provider SOC 2 report today, we're not your answer. Full detail on the security page.
  • We're not a hands-on local MSP. On-site work is delivered through vetted contracted partners. Efficient for occasional needs; wrong if you want the same face in your office weekly.
  • We're not the cheapest at the top end. Managed Plus at $159 is competitive, not disruptive. The structural advantage is largest at the bottom of the market and we don't pretend otherwise.
  • We won't claim the AI does everything. Roughly half of onboarding and a meaningful share of ongoing work needs a person. The pricing reflects that honestly instead of promising autonomy and quietly billing the gap.
  • We don't have a wall of logos. We're early. When we have customers willing to be named, they'll be here — and not before.
